Upon arrival at the airport, your guide will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel directly. Check-in hotel for freshening up and relaxing and spend the rest of the day exploring the capital of Vietnam.

After breakfast, you'll start to visit Hanoi. Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam, the only Asian city with tree-lined boulevards, French

colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and oriental temples. The tour includes Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum. Enjoy the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho's final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts. Lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049. The structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi.

Then, toward the Temple of Literature – the first university of Viet Nam. At first, the university was only open to members of royal families but it later admitted talent students who had passed the provincial examinations or composed a great work. Then enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch after return to the hotel for relaxing.

In the morning, take your time relaxation to prepare a city excursion in the early afternoon by “cyclo”. Cyclo is one of the local transportation in Vietnam.

You will feel comfortable to hang around the ‘Old Quarter’s 36 Streets in the slow pave while they could see, feel and take photos from Cyclo. The ‘Old Quarter’s 36 Streets’ was named for the products historically sold here.

Then visit Quan Thanh temple- a Taoist temple built during the Ly Dynasty (1010-1225).

We transfer overland to Halong Bay, northeast of Hanoi and enter into the Red River Delta, rich with rural beauty and picturesque rice-farming villages. Once reaching Halong Bay, we board the wooden junk and set sail for a leisure cruise of Halong Bay. Declared a World Heritage Site to protect its beauty, we'll cruise through its three-thousand islands and rich rock-formations.

Drop anchor at a cove amid dramatic natural scenery in Kiem Lam archipelago. If you’re feeling adventurous, jump into the waters to discover sea caves and secluded bays that bigger boats can’t reach. Back on board, spend the evening participating in a Vietnamese cooking demonstration from the onboard chefs.

Rise early to catch the sunrise and have breakfast on the boat before cruising onward to Sung Sot cave, one of the largest and most beautiful caves in Halong Bay. The cave has a very small area. However, when they pass through a rocky slot and enter inside, you will be surprised by the huge expansion of the area inside.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, start a trip to explore Hue’s famous royal tombs.

Take a boat trip along the Perfume River to soak up the charming scenery on the banks. Afterwards, visit the tomb of Khai Dinh known as Ung tomb is the tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh, the 12th King of Nguyen Dynasty. The architectural work owns a harmonious combination between the European modernity and the Vietnam classical characteristics.

Then enjoy a vegetarian meal prepared by nuns at Dong Thuyen Pagoda. You will have the chance to know about Buddhism.

Finally, before arriving back to the hotel, visit Thanh Tien village which is famous for its traditional craft of making paper flowers with its history lasting over 300 years. Meet and talk with local villagers to know the process of making flowers.

Begin the journey to visit the scenic countryside of about 40km far from the city centre. Arrive at Phuoc Tich village which was recognized as a national relic in 2009. You have a chance to contemplate Ruong houses of 500 years old. The number of “Ruong” houses preserved in the village is approximately 30 houses. It is known as the village of rich people or mandarins in Hue ancient capital. Besides, take the opportunity of making “Banh gai it”, one of the most famous traditional cakes in Hue.

Then, take a bike cycling through the peaceful streets to Tam Giang lagoon, stopping at Quan Cong village, known locally as the ‘City of Ghosts’, and behold the increasingly lavish and elaborate tombs that the villagers build for their ancestors.

Upon arrival at Tam Giang lagoon, enjoy a seafood lunch and hop aboard a boat on the lagoon. It is a fascinating place to enjoy the landscape and to explore tranquillity of fishing villages in Central Vietnam. You have the opportunity to learn of culture, customs of local villagers.

In the morning, drive to Hoi An ancient town over the Hai Van Pass- A contender for the most famous road in Vietnam, winding around a mountainside above the East Sea.

As you pass through the Danang City, stop at Cham Museum. Housing the largest exhibition of Cham sculpture in the world, the museum displays almost 300 terracotta and stone works of art ranging from the 7th to the 15th centuries.

When you arrive in Hoi An, start a food excursion at a local restaurant famous for white rose dumplings. White rose dumpling is a speciality of Hoi An and cannot find them anywhere else. You will have a chance to try making dumplings for yourself before sampling a few. Then, head to another local speciality - banh can crackers. Served with quail eggs, grilled pork, bright green salad and herbs. This dish is a highlight of Hoi An street food culture.

Continue onward to sample spring rolls, one of the popular snacks in  Hoi An.  Then take your time to enjoy Cao Lau noodle – the foremost traditional food in Hoi An. It is comparable to Chinese and Japan cuisine.

After breakfast, start your tour of Hoi An which mixed culture of Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese. Recently declared a World Heritage site, Hoi An is being beautifully restored and preserved, with parts of the town looking exactly like they did more than a century ago.

The first point is Chua Ong Pagoda which is not only a place of worship and meditation but also a cultural hub, preserving the heritage of the land. The Ong Pagoda is also popularly called the Quan Cong Temple.

Next, head to Phuc Kien Assembly Hall which was established in the year 1697 with the Chinese architecture. Then toward to Tan Ky house built two centuries ago by an ethnically Vietnamese family, this gem of a house has been lovingly preserved through seven generations. End your afternoon with a boat trip along the Thu Bon river before returning to your hotel.

Start a day with an excursion by bike to the Cam Thanh village (Bay Mau Coconut Forest), cycling along village roads and paddy fields.

After breakfast, begin the city excursion to explore the local life of the dynamic city. The first point is Cho Lon, one of the oldest Chinatowns. Start with a Binh Tay market, considered as the heart of Chinatown. You can find many things such as fresh produces, foods like other wet markets as well as fabrics and cosmetics offered the wholesale price here.  

Then take a cyclo and head to Cha Tam church where President Ngo Dinh Diem was seized after taking refuge here with his brother Ngo Dinh Nhu on 2 November 1963, after fleeing the Presidential Palace. Afterwards, hop aboard a boat and travel along Saigon River where you will enjoy cooking demonstration before tucking in a tasty Vietnamese lunch.

Finally, return to the hotel for relaxing.

Leave Ho Chi Minh city behind, drive to Ben Tre (about 2 hours).

On arrival board a small boat to visit typical workplaces including small brick factories, a coconut processing workshop and a local mat-weaving house.

Stop at a quiet village, take a short walk to witness local life and hop on a tuk-tuk (a kind of motorized rickshaw) to travel down country roads to the pier. Here you will continue to get on the boat for cruising along the river. While on-board, join in the demonstration of Vietnamese cooking before sitting down to enjoy it. After lunch, relax on the top deck and take in the scenery back to Ben Tre where, on arrival, you will transfer back to Ho Chi Minh, arriving late in the afternoon.

 In the evening you’re free.
