Itinerary

Upon arrival at the airport, your guide will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel directly. Check-in hotel for freshen up and relaxation and spend the rest of the day exploring the capital of Vietnam.

After breakfast at the hotel, take part in a city tour. The tour includes Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, His House on Stilt, President Palace, One Pillar Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh museum, Temple of Literature - the first university of Vietnam.

Lunch in a traditional restaurant. Then stroll around the Quarter’s 36 streets named for the products historically sold here. After that, past Hoan Kiem Lake to see the peaceful waters and visit Ngoc Son temple.

Enjoy a water puppet show for a look at traditional performance art in Vietnam before heading back to your hotel.

After a brief refresh, transfer to the train station for your night-train ride to Sapa.

Upon arrival at the train station, your guide will be waiting to transfer you to the hotel. After checking in the hotel, begin the trekking excursion to the Cat Cat village – home of H’mong Ethnics while passing through the picturesque valleys along a route.

Then soak up the charming terraced rice before through the villages of the Black H’ mong ethnic group. Have lunch at a local village restaurant before heading to Lao Chai village. Explore the villagers’ way of life and enjoy the tranquillity of the remote mountain village.

Afterwards, head to the homestay where you will sleep at night. Enjoy a traditional H’ mong herbal foot bath before taking part in a delicious H’ mong dishes.

Start an early day to admire the sunrise over the terraced rice. Then take trekking trip to Ta Van village. Meet and talk with locals to learn more about their daily life. You will get the opportunity to take in the unforgettable views of the surrounding valley.

Then return to the hotel for freshen up before heading to the train station to ride back to Hanoi.

We transfer overland to Halong Bay, northeast of Hanoi and enter into the Red River Delta, rich with rural beauty and picturesque rice-farming villages. Once reaching Halong Bay, we board on the boat and set sail for a leisure cruise of Halong Bay. Declared a World Heritage Site to protect its beauty, we'll cruise to the Bai Tu Long Bay, through its three-thousand islands and rich rock- formations. Then, take a kayak out and soak up the spectacular views.

Board on a rowboat to visit Vung Vieng fishing village. You have a great opportunity to experience the villagers’ daily life as well as the traditional culture and customs of the fishermen. Lunch will be served on boat before cruising back to the port. Transfer to Hanoi, stopping at Yen Duc village on the way to enjoy a traditional water puppet performance which performed by local artists. And arrive in Hanoi in the late afternoon, you have time to relax.

After taking part in breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for flight to Dong Hoi. Then you are free to relax and explore the city independently.

After enjoying a tasty breakfast, depart from Dong Hoi to Phong Nha, head to Tan Hoa Village (about 70 kilometres).

 Start a challenging excursion with a 2.5 kilometres hike across beautiful patty fields bound for Rao Nan River, ascend 30 meters up a rocky hill to a jungle opening, then continue with a 100-meter descent to Hung Ton Valley.

Enjoy lunch at the mouth of Hung Ton Cave before embarking on some serious trekking. Traverse Mango Mountain from Hung Ton Valley, and then head back down again into Tu Lan Valley - a distance of about 3 kilometres. After reaching your campsite, swim onward to explore Ken Cave, which is located on-site. End the challenging day by relaxing in the small stream and enjoying a great BBQ dinner followed by a campfire and soak up the atmosphere in here.

Start the adventure after enjoying breakfast to explore the wet and the dry part of Tu Lan Cave System. Then trek a short way through the valley into Kim Cave dry entrance. Stay for a while to watch out for a natural window in Kim Cave, and you’ll then be off on a swim (450 m) and trek (500 m) through Hang Kim to To Mo Valley.

A picnic lunch will be served next to a stunning waterfall by Hung Ton Cave mouth. Then, you will try to follow a dry path before swimming out through Hung Ton wet cave.

Following this is the exploration of a dry passage, and then a trek down into Hung Ton Valley (800 m).

Arrival in Tan Hoa is followed by a chance to take in the scenery with a cold drink in hand. Showers are available for those who would like to clean up and change, and then departure back to Phong Nha.

Depart from Dong Hoi to Hue. Upon arrival at the former imperial capital of Vietnam, transfer directly to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring this city independently.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, embark on a day of exploring Hue’s famous royal tombs.

Take a boat trip along the Perfume River to soak up the charming scenery on the banks. Afterwards, visit the tomb of  Khai Dinh known as Ung tomb is the tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh, the 12th King of Nguyen Dynasty. The architectural work owns a harmonious combination between the European modernity and the Vietnam classical characteristics.

Then enjoy a vegetarian meal prepared by nuns at Dong Thuyen Pagoda. You will have the chance to know about Buddhism.

Finally, before arriving back to the hotel, visit Thanh Tien village which is famous for its traditional craft of making paper flowers with its history lasting over 300 years. Meet and talk with local villagers to know the process of making flowers.

In the morning, drive to Hoi An ancient town over the Hai Van Pass. After checking hotel, you will have a short time to refreshen before getting ready a culinary adventure.

Start a food excursion at a local restaurant famous for white rose dumplings.  White rose dumpling is a speciality of Hoi An and cannot find them anywhere else. You will have a chance to try making dumplings for yourself before sampling a few. Then, head to another local speciality - banh can crackers. Served with quail eggs, grilled pork, bright green salad and herbs. This dish is a highlight of Hoi An street food culture.

Continue onward to sample spring rolls, one of the popular snacks in  Hoi An.  Then take your time to enjoy Cao Lau noodle – the foremost traditional food in Hoi An. It is comparable to Chiese and Japan cuisine.

Begin a day with a walking tour to the ancient town of Hoi An which mixed culture of Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese. Recently declared a World Heritage site, Hoi An is being beautifully restored and preserved, with parts of the town looking exactly like they did more than a century ago.

Have lunch with traditional dishes before transferring to Cam Thanh Village to explore the culture and lifestyle of local people. And you have an opportunity to ride a bamboo basket boat and explore the dense coconut palm forest by bamboo basket boat.

After enjoying the breakfast, leave for the airport to catch a short flight to Ho Chi Minh City - Formerly known as Sai Gon. Meet the guide at the airport and head to a hotel for check-in. Continue visiting Notre Dame Cathedral where the architecture was combined Romanesque and Gothic style. Start a day with an excursion to Cai Be, stopping to visit Cao Dai temple on the way, home to a religion that blends Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism and a bit of Christianity.

By boat, meander through a maze of narrow canals, leading to a local family producing rice paper. With the local people, you will have an opportunity to watch and make rice paper by traditional methods. Then, cycle around the village to visit a family who uses coconut leaves to thatch roofs and two others that weave hyacinth products and make net rice paper.

After enjoying the lunch, hop broad another boat and transfer to the ferry hub of Vinh Long. Then head to Can Tho by car. Spend the rest of the day to relax.

After enjoying breakfast, start the journey to explore the floating market of Can Tho by boat. Experience the flurry of vendors trading their wares as boats teeming with fruit, vegetables and household goods ply the waters. Then transfer to Chau Doc about three hours by road.

Afterwards, take the trip to Tra Su forest, an ecological reserve spanning 850 hectares. Travel by sampan boat through the thick mangroves and keep an eye out for the myriad of birdlife. Along the way stop off at a small village of ethnic Khmer where you have the chance to meet the monks at the pagoda and learn about Buddhism.
